From Finn Jones, Executive Director of @Trans-Cendence International, Inc.
I am very excited to announce the launch of our very first International Chapter, truly making Trans-Cendence International an international organization.
Please welcome New South Wales, AU to our TCI family! New South Wales will be our first international chapter in Australia. Like our other chapters, we will offer support and education to the transgender/gender non-conforming community and their significant others, family, friends, and allies. This group will allow for individuals who live/work around the Sydney, Australia area an opportunity to come together for support and community.
We are excited to welcome Chana Yael Schulman as the Chapter Director for the New South Wales group. Over the next few weeks, details will be announced in regards to meeting times and location. We know our Australia chapter will be in good hands with Chana as she has an extensive background in LGBT rights and peer support, not to mention many other accreditations.
We are excited to see this chapter take off and provide the much-needed support to our friends in the South Pacific.

Trans-Cendence International is committed to the support and well-being of the transgender and gender-diverse community and their SOFFAs (Significant Others, Family, Friends and Allies). We work to build an inclusive community by creating programs to educate others. We empower individuals to seek equal and civil rights to which they are entitled as members of the human race.
What does TCI do?
We set up and facilitate support group meetings in key cities. All of the leadership for the groups comes from community members who are trained and pass on the knowledge and experience they recieved as community members. Every group is set up with seperate facilitators for trans/gender diverse; spouses/partners; and parents/family members with a facilitator for each group. And youth and young adult support for the groups that need that. These groups are able to meet in their own separate and safe space to share and talk about specific issues they need to share. We work with mental health professionals to offer the most comprehensive help possible.
We also offer education to the community and work as community partners with other organizations. We have helped organize and have participated in several panel discussions and workshops around the DFW area over the years. We present workshops and presentations at key conferences around the United States about the importance of family and community support.
